Using the dashboard

Open your admin domain and log in with your admin password. A login lasts 24 hours.

Create a link

In New Link:

1. Short Slug is the part after the domain. For s.example.com/launch, the slug is launch. Use 1 to 64 letters, numbers, dots, hyphens, or underscores. Slugs are case sensitive.
2. Destination URL is where visitors go. It must start with http:// or https://.
3. Select Create Short Link.

A new link can take up to a minute to work everywhere in the world. See Troubleshooting.

Copy a link

Select the copy icon next to a slug. The link uses the Short Link Domain from Settings, or the dashboard's own address if that is empty.

Sort the list

Select Clicks or Date above the list. Select the same one again to reverse the order.

Change where a link goes

Select the pencil icon on a link, enter the new destination, and select Save Changes. The slug stays the same, so links you already shared keep working. The click count is kept.

On a computer, the icons appear when you point at a link. On a phone or tablet, they are always visible.

Delete a link

Select the bin icon, then Delete. The short link stops working, and its click history is deleted too. This cannot be undone.

See clicks

Select the chart icon on a link to open its analytics:

• Total Clicks for that link.
• Clicks Over Time, one point per day (in UTC).
• Top Countries and Top Referrers (the site the visitor came from, or "Direct").

The totals at the top of the links page (Total Links, Total Clicks, Top Link) cover all links.

Settings

Select Settings in the top bar. See Configuration for what each field does.

Sign out

Select Sign Out in the top bar. On a phone, it is the door icon at the top right.
